Privacy
What you provide
GiftSpark sends the recipient and gift details you enter to our server and then to a configured AI provider (DeepSeek or OpenAI) so it can generate a shortlist. Do not enter sensitive personal information.
What we measure
We use Vercel Analytics for basic page-visit measurement. We also record limited funnel events such as the highest quiz step completed, whether the quiz or a recommendation completed, and which result position was clicked. A random ID connects events from one search and is replaced when you start over. Funnel events do not include your answers or free-text description, and the ID is not tied to an account or identity.
Accounts and email
This MVP has no user accounts and does not collect email addresses. Gift results are not saved to a personal profile.
Service providers
Hosting, analytics, AI, and optional event-storage providers process only the data needed to operate their part of the service. Their own policies govern their technical logs and retention.
Affiliate links
Result buttons open Amazon search pages and may include an affiliate tag. Amazon may collect data under its own privacy policy after you leave GiftSpark.
